MRC Human Reproductive Sciences Unit has recently moved into custom-built facilities within the University of Edinburgh Queen's Medical Research Institute located in the Little France Complex in the southeast of Edinburgh.

The new Institute brings together three interdisciplinary research groups: The Centre for Reproductive Biology (CRB), the Centre for Inflammation Research (CIR) and the Centre for Cardiovascular Science (CVS).

The new Institute provides synergy and added value for the Unit and University. As inflammatory processes and vascular biology play critical roles in reproductive tissues, the union with the CIR and CVS will contribute very substantially to our research. The Queen's Medical Research Institute opened in July 2005.
