Professor Sharpe has worked in the area of male reproductive endocrinology for more than 30 years.

He has expertise in all aspects of testicular development and function (including regulation and disorders of spermatogenesis), and has wide experience with 'endocrine disruptors' and with the effects of environmental (eg. chemicals) and lifestyle factors on male reproductive health.

He is the author of over 200 publications.
